Exceptionally surprising intimate breakfast place, that serves very good plates for good value, given the central location. Service was very kind and helpful. The Ambiente is pretty down to earth, nothing chic, just a very nice place to spend a nice morning.

ABSOLUTE NO VALUE OF WORTH
£6 FOR 4 HASH BROWNS ADD ON
£10 for the (partly)english breakfast
added £1 for chips and that’s what I get
Just look at the photos and you’ll see.
Don’t come here. Id rather go to the breakfast club for their full Monty.
Just disappointed. This is a tourist spot but still. VERY OVERPRICED. SCAM

Reasonably priced for a central location. Food tasted okay and was served quickly.

Great little £10 brek (50p extra for nice Lavazza decaff). Quick, friendly, efficient service - a bargain this close to Trafalgar Square :-)

I have been meaning to try Breadline Cafe which I pass all the time.
Scanning the menu, I love all the English fryups.
The ambiance is casual and I like the old style and decor.
In the sauces section, they have lemon and lime juice.
Finally decided to try it one afternoon but they were not quite impressed that I just ordered a drink despite the whole place was empty.
It is always good to have one customer which reassures passers by to come in as the place gets noticed.
Anyway, will be back for food as a foodie.

Great little joint. Owner is pleasant. Prices very reasonable given the location. Regularly stopped in during my stay near trafalgar. Only quick joint I'd stop in at nearby.

Tucked away on a quiet side street just off Trafalgar Square, Breadline Cafe might not grab your attention with fancy decor or a trendy menu. But step inside this unassuming gem, and you'll be rewarded with a hearty, no-nonsense breakfast that's guaranteed to warm your soul (and fill your belly!).
I recently popped in for a weekday morning refuel, drawn in by the promise of a classic English breakfast! Sausage and bacon with generous heap of baked beans, accompanied with a nicely fried egg with two slices of toasted bread to mop up every last bit of deliciousness on the plate.
It wasn't fancy, but it was honest, hearty food that filled me with a deep sense of satisfaction.
Of course, no English breakfast is complete without a proper cuppa. Breadline Cafe serves up a strong, steaming mug of tea, just the right astringency to cut through the richness of the food and leave you feeling refreshed.
The atmosphere at Breadline Cafe is equally unpretentious. It's a small, no-frills space with mismatched tables and chairs, giving it a warm and welcoming vibe. The service is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall feeling of a neighborhood gem.
For the price (I paid under £10 for my breakfast), you won't find a better value in central London. This is a place where you can go for a no-nonsense, delicious breakfast that won't break the bank. It's not about trendy dishes or Instagrammable interiors; it's about good, honest food served with a smile.
