We had the pleasure of delivering one of our trailers to a family from Ottawa who were visiting KOA in Owen Sound. The site was well-equipped with full hook-ups and a level surface, and it had a great seating area, fire pit, and cement pad beside the trailer to keep it clean. We own a small RV rental business in Owen Sound, and KOA is one of our favorite places to do business.

We have been to several KOAs and stayed at this one in August 2024.
We rented a cabin as well as a tent site.
There is a nice couple to check this in they were very helpful and gave us great directions around the camp.
The tent site was close by and was very clean and well maintained.
The cabin is a standard KOA cabin.. It's clean, it has one double bed and a set of bunk beds.
There's room underneath the bed for storage. As it was just the two of us we used the bunk bed for storage as well, of course.
What was very unusual was there is no air conditioning and no mini refrigerator in the cabin.
The exterior property is unusual in that there are five other cabins clustered in sort of a semicircle. Very, very limited privacy. Absolutely no shade even though I requested it.
For things to do in the camp?. There is a nice clean swimming pool with lots of chairs. There is a pond with fish that you can feed and there's access to the Bruce trail which is very nice and we utilizes the fair bit. There is a kid's play area and an unmaintained horseshoe pit.
There is a store with pretty much nothing in it and what there is is extremely expensive.
Wi-Fi is free for the first hour and then an unbelievable $3.99 for an hour after that. Use your data.
Here's what I don't understand from a business perspective.
There's no fresh brewed coffee.
There is no snack bar.
There is a game room but no games except for a pool table,foosball,and air hockey.
No ice cream
No souvenirs
Very limited selection of candy and snacks
Unbelievably expensive firewood
($12.50)
No slushy machine, no ice cream.
No mini golf.
There's no visible security and we only ever saw three staff members, yet the place is well maintained and the bathrooms are very clean.
I'm giving this review five stars just to be nice however at the most it really should be 2.5 Stars.

With a surveillance camera that followed our every move, 10 foot off the ground and 10 foot from our camper. I felt I needed to keep our shades closed because they had vidio of every movement inside and outside our camper. Creepy. I won't stay at this campsite ever again.
We just had a great stay with KOA Owen Sound. The service was exceptional right from the original communication when making our reservations.
We spent our first two nights in there new GEO DOME. SUCH a cool experience! It's a little bit pricier but worth it. GLAMPING at it's best.
We also spent two additional nights in a cabin. It was cozy, quite and comfortable.
The grounds are maintained really well - everything was super clean. My daughter loved the pool too!
We play to come back next summer!

The family that runs it is fantastic!
Everything is well maintained and clean. I had some issues with running 50amp at my site (my bus is very sensitive to power fluctuations) so the owner came over with a power conditioner in 5 minutes and everything was great.
They make their own Chinese food that you can order and the basque cheesecake is amazing!

Hey, the host was awesome! We got there super late, like 10 pm, but everything was ready for us. The instructions were super clear, so we had no problem finding our camping spot and parking the boat. They are very friendly and welcoming. I have been here almost after 8 years. When my kids were very young, I and my kids love this place. Extra clean and very well-maintained washroom. #camping #boating #familyfun
First impression was not good. Very poor customer service skills from the owner.
Got to the site and it was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. I wish I had taken pictures. Level on one side but tipouts were in the trees. The other side was even with a landscaping breakwall to allow a flat site for parking BUT it was about a 30" drop from trailer stairs to the ground. Thank goodness we carry a stepstool with us. Seriously!
The only good thing was location and clean bathroom/showers.
