Braga on Week End! Enjoy it!
Very nice air flow here, less hot (under shadow, super high roof provided), open mall concept, great-clean & free Toilet too.
Plenty of parking slot for car here (at the basement), probably it is the only opened public parking slots for cars in the area around Braga Steet.
At Aug 2023, some outlet are closed/ under renovation, there is FAVE Hotel at 2nd floor of the mall. Must be a gret hotel to stop by for 1-2 day trip during your visit the Braga St.
Ow yah, Braga walk place next right to Wendy's/ Baskin Robin shop and before Starbuck Shop, you wont miss it since there is a huge ramp for car & pedesterian to come in/out the Braga Walk, and very high platform (> 30m frm the ground ?) In front.
Me and my son enjoy 30mins snacking inside, at open air table, do charging at my Cell-phone (power socket provided at certain snack outlet), and get refreshing a bit at mall's toilet (at least flash mour face with cool water, ha3x)...
After the dark, pls be ready for cool air flow within the area, very refreshing after a hot day (peak month of summer season: Jun-Jul-Aug).
Surrounding area, will be full of art artist specially in painting, while I was there were some "Costplay artist" around too (for Japan Anime comics + Hollywood's Superheroes, and local Horror Movies) for small money when you can took the photo with them.
I came there around 5-7pm, witnesses great transition from light to dark, enjoy the blue sky at sunset time with all the lights from every outlets/shops were on! Peoppe enjoy "nongkrong at cafe shop/ fancy restorant/ mini bar", just to share the moments with friends (nongkrong) or family for very unique ambient + atmospher, but I believe there are some bar & pub with alchohols also served, and smoking is allowed within the area, just ask first at front desk when you've those favour.
Getting dark more people will come, 2 sides of pedesteian walk became a bit crowded with tourists/ visitors (local and overseas), and some with their small kids too. I just a bit worry for the children since the cars/ motorcycle still allowed to pass/ use the street (only 1 way, fortunately) during the weekeday or non weekend/holiday, so please take care your kids here, wouldn't you please.
Pro street photographers also will offer you their service at some spots, to capture your happines and great ambient after the dark (will be full of colorfull light ornamens from every shop at both street sides) worthed to try even before the dark just to capture very old buildings as background & to honor pre-modern architectures (some are build < year 1920) or fancy old style pedesterian.
Some shops also keep ther beautiful + romantic/aestetics room setup + decoration as its original (from past time), for you senior people can bring back some old memory I am prety sure... Try to ask food "menu from the past" to make it completed. Some outlet also sell the old style snacks (from my childhood era), jajanan pasar/ kue2 basah, plus their authentic menu from their ancessors and modern Coffees. At least you must try them once, even the
price a bit higher than normal but still affordable and OK lah to enjoy the old time expriences...
Dont forget to bring you camera there (with fix 50mm lens + zoom 120mm as great complementary) or just Cell Phone, capture as much during the light, transition between, and the dark for difference perspectives, you will gonna enjoy to press the shelter 100% guaranteed (esspecially for you that enjoy street photography, old buildings, and colorfull lights night). Clean up your Memory Card before enter the area, or tou will regreat, he3x .. Start to walk & take photos frm Jalan Asia Africa, then take left to Jalan Braga at both sides of st when possible.
I wish you can enjoy the Braga St, and Braga Walk, I do recommended at least spent 1x pleasant evening there during your stay at Bandung (frc).

Kinda feels like Legian City Walk more than Malioboro, and they have a lot of cute and cool cafe and bar.. i really enjoyed the walk here tho !
Nice city nice spot we called braga Weg, it feels like we in holland with local wisdom. Many food restaurants with old buildings occupied for them, we can walk throwback the time :)
A good strip of road with a whole lot of good cafes and restaurants. If you like hanging out while people-watching, this is a pretty good spot!
Braga is a historical & ancient municipal city of 190k inhabitants in the north east of Porto. Its known for its religious sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Mento Complex a UNESCO heritage, a public sector University of Minho and a large number of churches found almost in every street, park & center of the city. In the city center, a medivial Braga Chatedral is a home to a sacred art museum and a Gothic style King"s chapel. Nearby, the imposing Archbishop's Palace overlook Santa Barbara Garden. Inside of the city there is a castle tower which can be visited. Public transport is frequently available for visiting every tourist site, Center & Mall of the city. In short city has a rich ancient history visible from the its old historical churches & monuments.
The shopping center located on Jalan Braga is full of culinary delights and various fashion outlets. With an environmentally friendly concept, BCW is suitable for visiting those who are in the Braga area. even though it's environmentally friendly it still feels cool. From the Crowne hotel can be reached for 5 minutes by foot. The mall has several famous Indonesian culinary delights on the front, unfortunately many outlets are closed on the 2nd and 3rd floors so that makes enough this place seem quiet. There are family massage, cinema and hotel in this mall.
