Sofienwirt Restaurant

Had the lunch special and it was amazing! My wife had fish. All the food was excellent and the service was very good. I highly recommend it.

The food at this restaurant was amazing. I was looking to try some traditional Austrian food and the Beef soup with pancake strips was very flavorful and savory. The schnitzel I had was super crispy and the salad with dressing was delicious. The service here was quick and they have outside seating which is perfect for a nice day. I would definitely go again.

We ordered 3 types of Schnitzel and were impressed. The potato and leaf salad has a great dressing. Dessert was good too, will have to try with coffee next time.

Vienna is not short of restaurants but Sofienwirt is so good we ate here twice recently. Great friendly atmosphere with lovely staff who all seemed happy and at ease with one another. The food is traditional Viennese, very reasonably priced, and obviously prepared by people who know and care about what they are doing. The onion soup was the most flavourful bowl of soup I've ever had in my life!

Mycket trevligt och en supergod schnitzel med potatissallad. Även mitt sällskap, som är glutenintolerant, kunde njuta en dubbelpanerad schnitzel. Första gången på 30 år!

Excellent food at a wonderful quality-price ratio, served by a happy waiter that helped us to enjoy the food even more.
