Lake Baldwin Park

We often visit the dog park portion of the park, which is completely fenced off from the boat ramp, dock, and playground.

Our dogs absolutely love it here. They get to run around, swim, explore the woods, and even get a bath!

There's a small fenced-off section within the dog park specifically for small dogs. The park also features water stations for the dogs, dog wash stations, poo bag stations, and trash cans throughout. There are benches, picnic tables, and a covered pavilion for visitors to use.

We've visited both during the week and on weekends, and have only encountered a misbehaving dog on one or two occasions, prompting us to leave. Other than that, the dogs usually get along, making it a fun experience for everyone.

Lake Baldwin Park is absolutely fantastic. It is a medium sized park that allows dogs and has plenty of trails intersecting all over and the biggest of them lead out of the park to the surrounding areas. The trail is awesome as well, but that’s for another time. There are a bunch of doggy pick-up stations so you don’t even have to bring your own baggies if you don’t have any. Small water play area so make sure to bring towels if your pup has an attraction to water. Speaking of there is a washing station, which I’ve never used, that is available if your pup gets extremely dirty. Not too sure if there are any dryers as again I haven’t used it but I would not doubt it.

Honestly it’s a 5 star park, but I’m doing 4 stars due to the amount of people there. Be expected to say Hi and talk to people. Don’t really mind it, but I know some people who do and I can personally be a little anti-social in the morning.

I love this dog park/dog beach area in Baldwin Park. It’s a great place to socialize your dogs, let them run around and expend a great deal of energy. The park is large and has a child playground separate from the dog designated area. Bathrooms are clean for a park and are located at the entrance to the park. There is also a trail to walk on, run or ride your bike. It’s also a nice trail to let your dog sit dry after their time in the water. There is also a wash station to clean your pets. Always a fun time.

It's a great park for your dog, they'll going to have a lot of fun! Nice facilities and space to park.

This place is the "holy grail" of dog parks. This park is very large, with about 100 feet of waterfront beach for the dogs to go in to cool off a bit while they are playing. There are a large variety of dogs, and the owners I have met thus far have seemed very friendly and respectful with their pooches. If you'd like to opt out of the "doggie day care" atmosphere in the middle of the park then you can leisurely walk your little one down one of the many sandy trails throughout the tree-lined park. Then, to complete the amazing experience, you are able clean your puppies up at the dog wash area right near the exit/entrance of the dog park.

A great place to let the dogs enjoy being outside and running free!!! The lake is nice but there's an awful smell. For the most part it's a great place to take them for a day and let them play. They have bathrooms for us humans and showers or hoses for the dogs. It's much better than driving an hour.
