Basildon Hospital CTC Unit

I have just undergone removal of cancerous tumor in my lung...I honestly cannot fault the treatment or care I was given. I applaud each and every member of this unit..but none more than my surgeon Mr Badran....

Friendly staff and not long to wait.

Some really wonderful staff in the CTC looking after my Mum. How kind and compassionate some are really makes things easier to cope with.

The 2 January I done Angiography for microvascular angina. My think is Lovely, department, absolutely competent and professional staff, care me with love, tenkyou so much

The facility never answers your phone calls no matter how many times you try. and they don't have strap to tie around arm instead used a rubber band which pinched my baby's arm and he was so much in pain without even putting the needle in. Overall average experience.

Why does it take you 40 mins to answer the phone? And why dont you say where the caller is in the queue? Finally answered by rude woman who told me my 95yr old aunt's appt was this morning... But the appt letter was sent to her home not the care home so wasn't seen! 'We don't get told where patients are' , why not for heavens sake! Next appt in 2 weeks. Meanwhile that's another 2 weeks of care home funding that will have to be paid by NHS. No wonder it's in crisis! Rude, unapologetic staff.

I had a catheter ablation procedure performed by Dr Neil Srinivasan and his team on February 16th. I cannot praise the efficiency and kindliness enough of everyone involved both prior to the procedure and on the day itself. Between Dr Neil and his team and the nursing staff on Thames Ward I could not have been in better and safer hands. Thank you.
