Tequila House Nightclub

Completely got scammed by the bartenders who worked on 8/10/24. I bought drinks for a friend and I, total with tip was $40 but my card was charged more than that. I specifically took a picture of my receipt too since they didn’t give me a customer copy of the receipt, yet I was still scammed. Music/DJ was great but not worth the $20 going in just to get scammed at the bar.

Tried to go dancing on a Thursday night at 11pm, but the DJs on this particular night just had no clue. They seemed to be really into each other, haha, but not the vibe of the crowd.

There were ~20-25 people just waiting for a good beat that never materialized.

I’m sure there are talented DJs in CLT - this club needs to find them and keep them happy.

Spent $0 - several small groups just came and left ($0) after waiting for a beat.

Pretty sure I got scammed. I was told the table was $150 and then I got a bill for $500. For just 1 bottle. I paid because at the end of the day not scum like these folks. I will not be returning to this sketch establishment and will be advising friends and family of the practices of this establishment.

I come here almost every weekend, and tonight I walked out of the bathroom and was escorted out with absolutely no explanation, was looking for my friend and he followed me out thankfully. Security out front was cool and asked me what happened, but I didn't do anything wrong and was never given a reason. Probably won't be coming back unless I'm given a valid reason as to why I was removed. Was dancing with a friend the whole night and not bothering anyone, genuinely confused and curious. Indoor security needs more coordination or something.

Be careful when paying with a debit card. They will scam you and charge your card from more money. I paid $37.05 at the club and two days later my charge updated to $45.68. Why are u adding a tip without my knowledge or consent when I put down $0?. Why are y’all running my card for more money when my drinks were paid for when I left ? Will not be returning! $45 for two drinks is ridiculous.

I love the music and the DJ always knows what to play, I love the diversity in this place and I love how the vibes matches untill…. I didn’t go to TH for almost a year and few months. And everything I said above was build on my last memory of this place, when I went yesterday. That place was full with teenagers and young dudes who literally ruined the place. Its packed to the point its seriously unreal and not good. It wasn’t like that at all before. Idk what happened or maybe this place became 18+ not 21+ anymore. Idk. But what I know is this place will be my last choice if I wanna go or tell someone about it..
