Las Islas Marias Mariscos

My shrimp cocktail was good. Sadly, service sucks.

We had a great experience here years ago and finally made it back. My family and I were so disappointed. We expected the prices to be higher due to all the inflation. The food quality and flavor did not match the prices, though. Like not even close. The carne asada plate with shrimp was not worth it. The rice tasted like "minute" rice. The steak was barely seasoned. The shrimp were not even deveined and overcooked. To the point where the texture was very off-putting. The piña rellena was very sad looking. It looked and tasted nothing like it did before. Again, the shrimp weren't deveined. The peppers were diced so small (not like pictured online). The sauce was very watery. I'm sure there are some very tasty dishes available, but for the prices they are charging, everything should be on point. The service was the bare minimum, and we were the only ones there. I don't mind spending money on going out, but I expect tasty food and good service. I don't think that's too much to expect from restaurants who want our hard earned money.

Food is really good. Haven't had any complaints. Just that drinks are so expensive. My bottle coke is more expensive than my shrimp taco. How does that make sense. And music, is always the same. They need to change it up a bit. Customer service sucks. I would be there more often if it wasn't for the servers. Only 1 girl there actually smiles.

The service here was completely utterly unprofessional and disgusting.
I had to sit myself at a table just to be seated. They never gave us our complementary chips, or menus. I waited an hour+ and im still waiting here for my food while i write this. Could not be more dissatisfied and disappointed.

First time visiting this restaurant, and I was immediately impressed.

There is plenty of parking available, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. (We came in Easter around 3pm.)

I ordered the Tamarindo margarita and ceviche mixta (medium). And let me tell you the medium was just enough for me. My friend ordered filete de ajo (garlic fish fillet). I took a bite of the fish, and it was to die for, and the beans on the side were just right.

There was plenty of seating inside as well, and I noticed a microphone near thy bar area so they may have karaoke nights.

I will definitely be coming back, esp since summer is around the corner.

Food was great, they give great portions. They also have a live band from to tome to time. Definately a great place to take someone for some great sea food in palmdale.

Good food but the customer service is lacking too long to get our food and no follow up from waitress, kids meal took the longest
