Tried to charge me full price for my 7 year old daughter! $15-20 rider fee ok, senior citizen fee ok, but full price when she is not going to take 1 shot is a no go! How are you going to welcome kids to golf if you are unwilling to welcome them! Get a grip Quailbrook!
Take a walk or ride yr bike or scooter from Quailbrook Park Playground and get a hotdog (seasonal). Don’t know how good the golf course is though. It’s always packed so probably good
Every time I play this place I’m more disappointed. Course is in good condition but customer service is awful. Played 9 holes started thundering raining and no rain check.
Play Quail Brook a few times per month ... Decent cost even though out of county..nice layout..well maintained greens. Somerset purchased new carts for 2024.
Here's my rating explained: 3 stars for the golf course itself (great track, well maintained), 0 stars for the customer service.
Recently I had the absolute displeasure of interacting (read: getting yelled/snapped at) by the rudest golf course employee I've ever met, Grace. (The irony of that name is not lost on me, trust me.)
I have no clue what her problem is or why, but from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a dismissive attitude and Grace acted as if I was a huge inconvenience. Why someone with zero people skills chooses to work in customer service is beyond me. However, here we are.
Dealing with her was like trying to golf with a pool noodle: completely pointless and frustrating. She talked over and belittled me, then raised her voice when I asked her simple questions, and the whole experience really just left me disgusted that the Somerset County Parks Commission would keep someone like her on staff.
I will be returning once, as detailed below, and then never again.

P.S. - Mike H. and the rest of the staff are great. But dealing with Grace is enough to make me avoid Quail Brook for the foreseeable future.

Value for money! The course is always in great condition and well priced. The pro-shop staff is courteous. I live more than an hour away but still consider this as my home course, that is how much I enjoy this course.
The golf course was a great value for the price. We had a lot of fun, and we would definitely recommend it to others
