I recently had an opportunity to brunch at their New York franchise and was not too disappointed. At times, it felt as though their menu was in some way a bit decadent, outdated and trying too hard to embrace that and make a statement. For the most part it was a good time. I had eggs, and afterwards treated myself to Scotch on the rocks (one rock actually). The owner was nice. You could tell he had put the time in to learn the ins and outs of gastronomy well. Sometimes, when overhearing his conversations, he seemed a bit dramatic, but it was all in good fun. It's a huge restaurant!
