Great community Garden
We have had our plot there
For over 35 years
Nothing like the green beans and garden tomatoes

I just seen this place covered in snow & still felt a good vibration. I so happened to get a History lesson by a Local & just made respect it more.

Always a highlight of my walk or run when I can make it this far. The garden has a variety of crops and flowers in small plots that are fun, interesting, and often beautiful to look at. The main path through is paved and a good dog walking path, and there are grassy trails that lead to the individual gardens. With the long wait list I don't expect to get a spot soon, but I treasure the space nonetheless.

Amazing place. Wish more community had something like this.

I’ve been walking thru this garden since I was kid. It’s beautiful and grows better every year

A lovely community garden space for easy walking and a few good sitting spots. Many varieties of flowers and vegetables to look at. There is plenty of street parking available and fence openings on both 46th Ave and Dowling St

The gardens are worth seeing any time of the year...tender spring shoots, full blown abundance of summer, waning fall and sleeping winter beds when the garden layouts and structures show the design involved in planning these wonderful beds. Check out the chimney swift chimneys at dusk to see the birds fly home. The blooms may be gone now, but the bench is still there for a rest!

Very friendly people and in a nice neighborhood! A couple shared their produce and introduced me to the garden. It was the largest community garden I've ever seen. It's probably around 3 acres, with beautiful garden plots of different shapes and sizes. It has an old growth orchard and nature area. Supposedly it is the oldest of the old victory gardens in the country. Awesome!
