La Lake Park is a hidden gem that I just recently stumbled upon. The park is never busy. The walking trails are nice and go around the lake and ponds. No fee for admission.
Update: Just went here again in late June and the mosquitos are absolutely terrible here.

It's hidden trails, and they have a huge chalet like party house. Truly your in nature in town
Went walking there today. Just beautiful and very peaceful
About 1.5-2 miles of walking trails around small ponds and La Lake. Lots of wildlife and very peaceful. Wayne Kramer ^^ is a baby LMAO! What did you want...a swing set? Grow up buddy. Not all "parks" have a slide....some people.
