Massive museum, overlooking the sea and parks near it. It has lots of history displayed in it. Clean interior as well. Never miss this opportunity to visit this place when you go to Liverpool.

Little Liverpool toddler sessions.

Our 2 year old absolutely loved playing here with the educational and interactive toys.

It's free to enter but you need a ticket for the session so they can monitor numbers. Quite on weekday mornings, check session times online.

Minature Liverpool Docks with water and boats was great.

There's a sensory area for babies to relax and more robust toys and exhibits for toddlers to play with and learn.

Brilliant representation of the city in miniature form.

The museum itself is excellent too for adults and kids of all ages once you've tired the little ones out.

Staff at the Museum of Liverpool were all too happy to come to my assistance when I called the museum to enquire about purchasing a gift. The building itself is iconic and contributes to the character of the world famous skyline. The museum is focused on the more modern aspects of Liverpool life and the cultural history of the city. Although I didn’t have time to look around on this occasion, I signed up to be a member of the museums due to the excellent customer service that I received when I visited to purchase a gift. I can’t wait to come back and learn some more about the history of this famous city.

This is a lovely museum filled with local history and has such a nice chilled out vibe to the place.

The place was clean, spacious and packed full of interesting exhibits on display.

You get a real sense of the pride of the area and you begin to understand the contribution to the uk that Liverpool and it’s people have made and continue to make.

We will be back as we didn’t see everything!

Wonderful place to visit. Totally free & educational. Accessible toilets & lifts. Cafe on site. Parking terrible. We parked at Albert Dock & walked over. Lots to see & do nearby also!

Good museum especially since it's free. The history of Liverpool is cool and it really shows you stuff you wouldn't have learned otherwise. Three floors. Although the 2nd floor is somewhat repetitive of the first. The electronics stuff doesn't work which was disappointing for my son.

I truly enjoyed my visit of the museum. The presentation was very well done. I would recommend it to anyone.

The added bonus is the top floor at the viewing gallery. You can get a stunning birds-eye view of the city.

Free to enter with the optional £5 donation.
