The Park of Villa Glori is located on Monte Caciarello, a hill descending from via dei Monti Parioli to the Tiber, and occupies a large area between the Parioli and Flaminio districts. It was opened to the public in 1924, on the design by architect Raffaele De Vico, and is immersed in the Mediterranean greenery of pines, holm oaks, oaks, laurels, horse chestnuts, cedars and olive trees, meticulously lined up in rows.
With the name "Parco della Rimembranza", it was dedicated to the fallen of the First World War, and later, to all the Romans fallen for the homeland.

Small and quiet park. Good for relaxing, walking and sports.

The park offers a quite nice walk. It seems like you re walking in a small forest although the city is just few hundred meters away.

The café at the entrance though is quite expensive.

Nice park close to Auditorium. Small playground for kids available, and a nice small bar. There is also a pony/horse riding area. The park itself is nice for walking and running (though slopes) and in some areas it seems to be like in a forest.

Clean and quiet. A bit forgotten due to its location outside major tourist routes but gives you a chance to escape crowds when you are looking for a pleasant walk in the nature. No illumination though, so better to avoid when dark.
