Ridiculous!
After I paid, I was told that I couldn’t use Amex and that I should ask next time before making a payment because not all stores accept it. I specifically chose to pay with Amex because I SAW it was an option on your EFTPOS machine!!!
If you don’t accept Amex, please put up a sign rather than using this unpleasant attitude to ‘educate’ customers after the payment has already gone through!

Was there few days ago and got served by Mita. She rolled her eyes on me when she passing the change to me. It just make people feel uncomfortable. Still don’t know the reason behind it as I was polite and waited patiently with smile and it wasn’t too busy at the time.

This bakery is simply a lifesaver for my mornings! Whether it's in the shopping mall or Chinatown, I can easily find their storefront. Every visit is met with bustling crowds, all enamored with the bakery's offerings. They have a wide variety of bread, all soft and delectable, making it hard to resist! What's even more surprising is the incredibly affordable prices, ranging from three to four Australian dollars for a delightful breakfast! Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always greeting each customer with a smile. No matter where you are, if you want to enjoy a delicious breakfast at an affordable price, this bakery is definitely the way to go!

My dining experience at this restaurant was nothing short of appalling. The food managed to reach a level of mediocrity that almost warrants a pat on the back for its consistency in mediocrity. However, the service—or, more accurately, the catastrophic lack of it—was where the establishment truly outdid itself. Describing it as terrible would be a gross understatement. It was a masterclass in negligence, a display so abysmally poor that it veered into the realm of the offensive.Service was not just bad; it was a chaotic void where basic decency goes to die. Interactions with the staff left me wondering if they were part of an elaborate social experiment aimed at testing the limits of human patience. It’s a mystery how this establishment continues to operate with such a flagrant disregard for customer service. I left feeling less like a patron and more like an intruder who had overstayed their welcome in a place where hospitality goes to wither. In conclusion, recommending this place would be a disservice to anyone’s taste buds and basic human dignity. The only thing it successfully managed to serve was a lesson in how not to run a place. A return visit? Unthinkable.

Breadtop used to be one of my go-to places in Chinatown, but the quality of the products isn't as good as before, and the cost has increased. I always got the twin sausage bun, the spicy chicken bun and the croissants. I still visit because It's filling and cheaper than most places in Chinatown.

When Breadtop came to Australia many years ago, they were very good. But now, just average quality with average prices. However, it is a popular brand so at least you know what you are getting. We came to this store later in the day around 7.30pm and they still had a good variety of items for sale which did not look stale so that is a plus.
