A stunningly lovely tea cafe. I would love to try all the house teas.

Super cute hidden tea room along Rundle St. The atmosphere is cosy and laidback. I got the Lady Elhorn tea, a house blend, which was lovely, and my sister got the London fog.

At 240 Rundle St, via a narrow staircase, you will find this little cafeteria. The high tea is $35 per person, includes scones, 2 tasty vegetable sandwiches, 1 pastry, 2 desserts, tea or coffee. There are some interesting decorations and nice atmosphere. Staff is very friendly.

This is 2nd visit for me, mixed old style furniture, tea paraphernalia, chill background music, helpful & friendly staff, amazing food, eventhough their menu is full vegan they still had cows milk as option for my latte. (Which I appreciate). The French toast pic was only one I took today, other 2 pics are from last visit which was in June. Eventhough we were enjoying the chill vibe, staff were very accomadating with changing the music to swing for us..

Up a small narrow staircase at the east end of Rundle Street is the location of this peaceful little cafe .
It has lots of olde worlde charm and eclectic decor , and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere- and very pleasant background music . Speaking with the owner , apparently it’s only been open for about a year .
The menu is full of homemade vegetarian food with lots of gluten free options, as well as a surprising collection of teas , which they also sell in take home packets . You can have a pot at your table , and they smell divine
My friend had the shortcrust galette with the pesto roasted vegetables, with homemade pastry , which looked and smelled amazingly delicious, and I had the potato pancake with sauerkraut, which had a great contrast in flavour and was like a warm hug on a Winters day .
A gluten free scone and apple cake rounded off the meal with our tea .
We did spend at least an hour here , because it simply was too relaxing to leave , and my friend nearly fell asleep on the lounge in the corner .
Service is very friendly and it’s a place to go and escape the hustle and bustle of the city .
A true hidden treasure.

Can highly recommend the high tea at Curiositeas, all of the food was delicious and there was a generous amount of food and drink. The location is super convenient and the antique decor was homely and created a relaxed atmosphere! And all food being vegan is AMAZING! Thank you Curiositeas!
(Not all food pictured I was too busy eating)

Delicious food and coffee. Many gluten free options. Everything is vegan but dairy available on request. Cute cosy little nook, be perfect for a quiet lunch or to read a book. It's upstairs so this could be hard for some. The cake was fabulous and it was so exciting to get a cheese toastie!!
