Ms Marcia was a wonderful tour guide. This was not something we knew about going into Gettysburg but the tour was so informative. The kids 12 and 10 remember the information and were engaged the whole time. Great family activity.

I grew up in Gettysburg and took my mother and 3 children (who live in The Netherlands) to visit the Shriver House Museum. I haven’t been since it’s opening and we were all amazed by the tour. So many interesting stories and discoveries! Loved having the civilian perspective of the battle. Orah was an excellent tour guide with a great sense of humor and storytelling skills. The Shriver House is a MUST when you visit Gettysburg (and for locals!!). Bonus: their giftshop is full of fun items, great also for locals for gift shopping;)

Our group of 10 visited the Shriver House Museum on Saturday, July 20th, and were greeted and led by Ms. Marcia. Not only did Ms. Marcia greet us in period attire her knowledge of the house and her storytelling of what the family endured was astounding. She made it come alive for us and we all thought it was one of the best tours we had ever done. Thank you, Ms. Marcia, you are the best

Our guide was Ms. Marcia, she was absolutely amazing. We were early to our tour and she was nice enough to give us some info, show us the bullet holes in the alley and let us explore the garden. She was emotional and passionate on the tour and just made the whole experience so memorable. This was one of the best tours my family has done. I would highly recommend the Shriver House. Thank you so much Ms. Marcia.

We had an amazing experience at the Shriver House Museum. Our guide, Lisa, was knowledgeable, kind, and full of amazing recommendations. The family history, restoration of the property, and strategic importance for the battle was awesome. The local businesses really keep the past alive with businesses like this one.
