Fars Military Museum

The museum is at the ground level and basement of Afif Abad building. There are a variety of military swords, guns and pistols ranging from 15th century to modern times. I would have given a 5 star review if there were more information about the items or even if there was a tour guide in the museum. It was fun overal.

The mansion in the centre of the Afif Abad garden serves as the military museum of Fars province. The place has two main floors. At the basement, you see a collection of swords from the 15th to the nineteenth century along with a very nig collection of pistols and guns from the 17th century to modern times. The second floor has been kept at the style in which it was used as the residence and reception place of the Royal family prior to the revolution.

This museum has a collection of military artifacts in the ground floor and on first floor there are beautiful reception halls and rooms decorated with paintings, which are worth seeing.

This is one of the most beautiful gardens I'd definitely recommend visiting in Shiraz. This is one if the places i would like to visit time and again. U simply can't get enough of it! The garden is at its best in early spring or mid fall. It's worth visiting all year round, though!

intresting old weapons. very nice garden. beautiful architecture. lovely atmosphere in April and May. historic building (Pahlavi's palace). good place to visit with kids.
not cheap entrance fee for international visitors.

The palace, the museum, and the garden all are fantastic. totally recommend visiting it.
