Fui la semana pasada para abrir una cuenta con pasaporte y me dijeron los requisitos.
Llegó está semana con todos los requisitos y me dijeron no saques ningún documento, te comentaron lo del seguro ?
Le digo no, además ya tengo seguro.
Me dice la chica, entonces no te puedo abrir la cuenta porque si o si tienes que contratar seguros sanitas.

Fueran a hacer caridad contigo, es imposible abrir una cuenta allá, te dicen que pidas cita previa, por un teléfono pero nunca te llaman. El argumento es que no
Hay personal para atenderte. Los empleados apenas si te hablan y de mala manera. La única persona amable es la señora de la entrada que trata bien a las personas a pesar de que no puede solucionar mucho de lo que pasa… Espero jamas necesitar abrir una cuenta con ustedes. Si pueden en verdad no vayan… ya se entiende porque la gente prefiere tener cuentas de banca online…

Managed to pay a bill with cash at a counter here which I wasn’t able to pay for with card an an ATM at two other banks. Very nice and helpful staff
They won't let foreigners with NIE open a bank account without buying expensive insurance. And minutes after the same lady at the desk was calling an Asian person offensive names right in front of me. I can't believe I experienced xenophobia and racism for the first time in Spain after all these years!
