The old lady refused to let us set that the restaurant takes reservations, and when I asked her how to make the reservation, she refused to tell me. I asked one of the people sitting at the tables how to make the reservation, and he told me that I did not make a reservation,I sat down immediately. What a rude way to welcoming the tourists!

I wish I could rate this place zero stars. The waitress( older woman )working there was openly racist, telling us directly that we were not welcome. She made a scene in front of everyone, speaking loudly and drawing stares from other . Despite this, we chose to stay because we can, but I do not recommend this place to anyone.

We ordered chestnut soup, tirorel knödel, and roast pork fillet. The taste was good, but service can be improved. I like the chestnut soup the most, roast pork fillet albeit a bit pale, but well seasoned. The location is close to golden rooftop.

Very central location, historic building. But atmosphere and interior are rather basic and not as cozy as expected. Food is good, although we only had a slice of strudel. Service was friendly and quick.

Our family friends who's an Innsbruck local took us here. They told us that this is one of the oldest restaurant in the city and many royalty including the princess of Thailand had dine here before. This restaurant serves authentic Austrian cruises, which was delicious. My father ordered the seasonal reindeer with wild berry source, this is the first time we tried reindeer and it was divine. For dessert we had Austrian mini pancake and a tiramisu type dish, both were great but very filling.

1 star because of very bad service.
We came for the Kaiserschmarrn, which was actually pretty good. The women serving us would not let us remove 1 order of kaiserschmarrn after being pressured into ordering quickly, and only 20 seconds of time passing. She was very rude and was not able to provide any flexibility.
She continued to keep coming back to our table asking what else we want to order without letting us relax.
She also did not give us back correct change and kept money for herself after we paid. She wasn’t very nice.

Delicious Austrian cuisine. The dining room is on the second floor which makes it much more quiet for dinner. The local grilled sausages are fantastic. And the potato fritters with sauerkraut are delicious. They have an English menu and the staff all speak English well. They are friendly and they leave you alone to enjoy your meal. If you are a fussy diner, you will be frustrated. If you are willing to embrace the cultural norms of attentive service with excellent food, this is a good choice in the old city. The hot chocolate with whipped cream is very good.
