In the secluded expanse of southern Utah, Valley of the Gods stands out as one of the most peaceful places I've ever encountered. We stumbled upon this hidden gem almost by chance while traveling towards Four Corners. Surrounded by towering red rock formations reminiscent of nearby Monument Valley but with a more intimate charm, the valley exuded a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. The vastness of the landscape, under the expansive sky and with only the occasional breeze, created a serene atmosphere that left a lasting impression. It's a place where nature's quiet grandeur invites reflection and awe, making it an unforgettable stop on our journey.

A smaller version of the Monument Valley, a 17 mile unpaved road, high clearance vehicles only.

Excellent free camping in an awesome setting. Close to the store in Mexican Hat, the Moki Dugway, and Muley Point

Early sunrise and sunsets are about the best the area gets for photo and video. Days in July through Sept are very hot so if you area hiking around bring alot of water and watch for snakes.

If you are flying drones , remember so is everyone else so be aware of your airspace as well as the changing winds in the valley.

10 star rating!!! Bucket list for adventure dual sport motorcycles! Been there multiple times on Honda 650's!!! Super magical place! I've got to get back there someday!!! (Note: fuel, food and fire water available in nearby Mexican Hat, Utah.)

Stunning. If you're in the area you have to come check out valley of the gods. There are no words to describe how amazing this. I would definitely make sure to come in the off season, while it'll be colder than you will like... There is nobody out here. The absolute silence is profound 👏 The road is rather rough so be prepared and there are not that many places to turn around. Definitely make sure you scout ahead if you're nervous about your car making it.

BLM land, well worth a visit. You can spend from two hours to two weeks: it never gets old. See ancient ruins carved out of mountains ! Fascinating. No restrooms, watch pets around the plants.

I fantastic drive through Monument Valley like rock formations. This dirt road is well maintained so it can be driven by cars with even a little bit of clearance. There are also many lovely campsites on the side of the road for dispersed camping. Although there is no shade and fires are not allowed so keep that in mind. Would recommend for a lovely drive or even to stay overnight.
