Find an uphill trail beyond the parking area and you will find an impressive view.

Spettacolo

So remote, quiet, peaceful and beautiful! So glad that we went offroad and did the 2 hour loop in the middle of the valley of the gods

Nice and quiet. Take the time to drive the entire Valley of the Gods loop. Watch out for cows though

When you turn off Hwy 163 (to/from Monument Valley) towards the Valley of the Gods Setting Hen Butte is one of the first amazing rock formations that catches your eyes. The entire area is simply amazing. Not to be missed.

Sitting Hen Butte is one of the many buttes and monoliths on the Valley of the Gods Road. It can be seen on the right about 15 miles from the Hwy 261 turn-off, or in front of you about 1.5 miles from the Hwy 163 turn-off.
