We came to this restaurant with great expectations after receiving a recommendation from the five-star hotel we are staying at.

The place has a great location, but that is the one positive thing my family and I can say about it.

The seafood variety is ample but insufficient for a restaurant in this category. Unfortunately, the quality, too, is mediocre, and the chef cannot deliver one flavorful dish. We ordered fish, seafood, fountains, and shellfish dishes, and everything was overcooked. There is nothing positive we can say about the food.

The service was mediocre. It was not terrible; it was just inattentive and distracted servers, perhaps resulting from the manager being distracted by his phone for the 90 minutes we were there.

They will bring you dishes you did not order, posing them as complementary, and charge you for them. The bread and olives they set before you will take €32 out of your wallet.

Do not visit this restaurant. Lisbon has many good places, but this is not one of them.

Excellent services and fresh sabor from the ocean. The waiter would guide you all the way, including appropriate quantity of food when you make the order.

DO NOT come here. The service and atmosphere is AWFUL. My husband and I are on our honeymoon and came here for a late dinner expecting a calm atmosphere (considering the prices). We were sat next to a table of roughly 20-25 young men and women who were rowdy and treating the place like a pub. They were extremely loud, banging on the tables and at some points getting up to arm wrestle on another table while cheering loudly. We held our tongue throughout our dinner expecting the staff would say something. By the time we were ready to go, we asked for our bill and to speak to the manager to give constructive feedback. We wanted to let him know that the atmosphere was extremely disruptive and that in future we would recommend seating couples elsewhere in the restaurant (many other tables were available, we didn’t understand why we had to be seated next to this one). The manager responded to our concerns by saying that this table was paying €2,000 euro and that pleasing them was his priority, hinting to our €100+ bill meaning nothing. A simple apology and expression of understanding would have been enough for us to leave happy, but the manager was extremely rude. If you want a normal, classy quieter restaurant, DO NOT go here. If you want a loud and rowdy place, you could be happy here, but I recommend going to a pub instead - food and drink will be cheaper and usually bar tenders are nicer there anyway!

I liked oysters! So fresh and tasty, the food itself was exquisite (I got salad with shrimps and strawberries, and a fish soup, all is tasty!).

Really enjoyed the food here! All the fish was superrr fresh! Highly recommend the octopus salad, it was some of the best octopus I’ve ever had. The Bacalhau à Brás was so good as well, really wanted to try it as it’s a staple of Portuguese cuisine, and was not disappointed at all! Staff was also very friendly. Overall, highly recommend!

Well, we have been in Lisbon for a few days and this is the most overrated and overpriced place we’ve been. The veal was 29€, look at the size compared to the dipping plates next, that amount of octopus salad was 13€. And about the wine, I got half glass. Food tasted average but the prices are through the roof. This place is absolutely a tourist trap.

Nice and friendly service. They allowed me to have a table for 1 as a lot of places in Lisbon do not allow this. Relaxing atmosphere with air conditioning. Polvo à Lagareiro was amazing, cooked perfectly. Slightly overpriced but I guess it is the price of seafood. Overall nice lunch :)
