Elmswood Surgery

Staff extremely helpful when getting appointment for my elderly dad.
Watched while they helped other patients. Kind, caring and considerate , in what is a very stressful job.

Reception staff are very helpful and polite. You don’t have to wait too long on the telephone to get an appointment and they always have appointments available by phone or in surgery. It’s the best surgery that I have been registered at.

They leave you without prescriptions for diabetes and high blood pressure, they constantly lie and deceive customers (i heard several people complaining)
If you press Recent reviews notice how many 0 stars ratings there are.. they probably replaced the good staff with horrible unprofessional one.. the good ratings were only in the past.
Avoid At All Costs!
Im saving you months of suffering and agony from maltreatment and apathy.

I have been registered at a few different doctor's surgeries.
Myself, my partner and my two children all registered here.
This is by far the best surgery I have personally ever been with.
The majority of the time you can always get an appointment the same day for anything that's serious.
The receptionists are always helpful and can't do enough for you! They do not get enough credit.

I can honesty say I’ve never had a bad experience with the people who work at this surgery. Every-time all the receptionists and doctors have gone above and beyond and most importantly made me feel heard and listened to. There is one lady in particular who works on the reception I don’t know her name but has curly red hair and she’s honestly an absolute gem, always so friendly and helpful. As are all the staff there. Got to be the best practice in Nottingham.

Having been bitten by a dog in my street with puncture marks & bleeding from the wounds in my hand, I phoned NHS 111 and they recommended a tetanus jab & antibiotics and to contact my GP practice. This was at 3.30pm on a friday and i didnt hold out much hope, yet i rang my GP surgery (Elmswood) & they got me an appointment at 5.10pm for a tetanus jab & appointment with the doctor for antibiotics. I can't fault them at all. Thanks Elmswood surgery for your great service put my mind at rest 👍

After having been a patient at Elmswood Surgery for many years, I could not fault the surgery at all for anything. The reception staff is always pleasant and very helpful, both on the phone as well as in person. The medical staff, both doctors and nurse staff are extremely hard-working and competent and in my experience there has never been a delay in seeing a doctor when there was an urgent need to it. Dr Malik is a superb and highly professional GP who will go out of his way to be helpful and supportive of his patients.

Elmswood Surgery is a clean, bright medical building with friendly, helpful staff. The office is well managed, making appointments run smoothly and on time. The automatic prescription services are time (and paper) saving, sending the order straight to the pharmacy means it is usually waiting for me instead of me having to wait for it.
My GP, the staff nurse, and the phlebotomist are all people who are open and approachable. I feel very comfortable talking to all of them and their sincerity is real, they are genuine people who really care about their patients. I have a couple of minor medical issues that require frequent interaction with the above named persons and even if I repeat questions, have new complaints, or just feel the weight of it and need someone to talk to, they all listen. They all care. No one at Elmswood Surgery makes you feel as if you are wasting their time. They are there for you. JLF
