A small dine in location with a good selection of coffee beans. I had the house blend as an iced batch brew (Rwanda, Tanzania) and it was a light bodied, floral coffee with crisp acid. A good refreshing drink!

Tasty coffee. Cozy store. Also easy to find all the top tier coffee tool brand.

Great coffee selection, unusual layout with a big communal island table seating and a couple of low tables in the back. The staff spoke good English and the service was nice and polite.

One of the top cafes in Kyoto and one of my favourites on par with other very cafes like Walden Woods and weekenders. Kurasu also has an outlet in sg which I really loved so I was really keen to try this main shop in Kyoto (Honten I think?) coffee was excellent and it was very popular with tourists mainly it seems. Had the el salvador latte, and spent a lot of time looking at their shop items.
Overall really recommended!

Vibrant coffees and friendly staff (they speak good English). Designed with nice taste, relaxing place for a coffee break, definitely recommended.

Best coffee in Kyoto. I've been here multiple times within my week visiting the city and it's by far my favorite cafe. Everyone working here is super friendly and the coffee just tastes amazing.

Seriously one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. I had their decaf Ethiopian drip coffee, and then repeatedly went back over my stay in Kyoto to drink it again and again. The quality was consistent, the service was consistent. I was always greeted warmly, regardless of whether I'd met that member of staff or not before. If you're in the area, definitely go in for a black coffee - it's next level flavours!
