Stanley Martin Homes at The Village at Cabin Branch

Moneh Kinteh misled us about the availability of the house we wanted. She consistently encouraged us to purchase an end unit, and after we committed, we were informed that the house plan had been changed and that no other homes with our desired plan were available, as they were all sold out. Three months later, during a site visit, we discovered this information was false. When we reached out to her for clarification, she promptly suggested canceling our contract, emphasizing that the EMD is non-refundable. Despite our efforts to address the main issue, she continuously brought up the non-refundable EMD, making us feel uncomfortable and as if she was attempting to dismiss us while keeping our $36,000.

This experience was highly unprofessional, and I hope management addresses this matter. However, I must note that the build process has been satisfactory, with regular updates and strict adherence to the schedule.

Very poor construction quality. Walls are crooked, finishes are misaligned, and paint is cheap. HVAC is not engineered for the space. Garage is too small to use. Utilities ruin the front facade. Pump and dump builder.
