Ate here with family. Food was amazing, except that the steak was served to us almost cold (definitely not hot). It felt like they cooked the steak early and then cooked the potatoes because the potatoes were very hot. The steak was still delicious, but for 5.5k you expect a hot steak.

All the other food was very good. Service was attentive. One incident though, they sat us down at our reserved table which was one long table and a small table. (We originally reserved for five but one couldn't make it so the one long table was enough to sit us.) While we were trying to take a selfie with a phone placed on the short table, a waiter came to take it away. He didn't even allow us to finish taking the selfie, he just took the phone, put it on the long table and said he had to take the table. What was 5 seconds more? Seemed kind of rude. Then in the middle of the meal they come over and bring the short table again to stick it back to our table, saying na di na kailangan. Just thought it would have been better etiquette to leave the table arrangement alone for the rest of the meal.

La Spezia is a good place to dine if you want a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The food choices arent a lot, but perhaps to ensure that they keep it to their specialty only. Those we've tried are all really good and would love to come back and try the rest.

Discovering La Spezia was like stumbling upon a hidden gem in a sea of mundane eateries. Despite gracing the culinary scene since 2016, it managed to evade my radar until today, when an Italian craving led me on a Google expedition. Lo and behold, there it was, perched at the top of the search results like a culinary beacon of hope.

From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The aroma of authentic Italian cuisine enveloped me like a warm hug, and even my friend, a worldly diplomat with a penchant for linguistics, was left speechless (which, trust me, is a rare feat).

Not only did La Spezia tantalize our taste buds with their delectable dishes, but it also charmed us with its cozy ambiance and undeniable charisma. It's the kind of place where you feel like you've stumbled upon a well-kept secret, and you can't help but wonder how on earth you've been missing out for so long.

But fear not, dear reader, for I come bearing proof in the form of mouthwatering photos that will make your stomach rumble with envy. Consider this my humble plea: don't be a fool, don't deprive yourself of the culinary masterpiece that is La Spezia. It's a belated discovery that I'll forever be grateful for, and one that I implore you to experience for yourself. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you later.

Third time here and it was AMAZING!

In the past, we found the food decent but nothing amazing. I also got worried because of the recent mixed reviews on Google Maps.

Thankfully we made the right choice by choosing La Spezia for my late birthday celebration. Fast service, great food, and pretty empty on a Sunday night!

Foie Gras was delicious especially with the candied walnuts and jam (i dont remember tbh). Great palate cleanser throughout the meal.

Pulpo was perfectly cooked although serving is quite small (understandable). Highly recommend this.

Carbonara was great. Probably one of the better ones in Manila.

Lamb shank was SOO GOOD. Tastes like a very well made beef bourguignon (aka my favorite) Please order this!!

Chocolate dessert thing looked like a blood sausage lol. Tastes like a very good dark chocolate truffle. Serving's way too big so we brought this home.

Highly recommend. Please maintain the good quality!! 😭😭

As a pasta girlie, I really loved my dinner here at La Spezia! The gnocchi was especially good, going to order this again if ever I come back 🥰

I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about the restaurant. It’s very pricey but I think that the price is just right for the taste and ingredients that the place offers.

The quality of the food is amazing! I heard the owner actually travels around the world to study the taste of food in other countries. It makes the quality of the food feel authentic.

The ambience is great for a calming evening, with family or friends.

The server is Superman! There's only one server around but he makes sure to accommodate all the tables, from taking away finished dishes to refilling our water immediately.

The overall quality and experience was great for a birthday celebration!

BEST. SCALLOP. PASTA. IN. METRO. MANILA. I'd say it louder if I could. Hands down. A few weeks later and I'm still pleasantly buzzing with thoughts of their pasta. It's unique, generous and transformative. I've never had anything quite like it. The scallops were seared perfectly and tasted fresh and juicy. They were very generous with the meat. It's not very clear in the photo but there's A LOT of shredded meat in between the pasta threads. But what blew my mind the most was the different textures of the pasta noodles. It's like they put them in at 3 20 second intervals so you get different levels of al dente-ness but it works. Wow. Wow. Wow. Only sad part is they're too far away.

We ate here for mother's day so I expected the place to be packed. The place itself is really nice however, if it gets too crowded it would get too loud and too hot. I would recommend going here during off times of the day to maximize the experience (as well as to get a spot for parking since it can get full). We were served ciabatta and balsamic immediately along with our burrata appetizer. It was a refreshing take to have it paired with corn! The risotto, sea bass, and tiramisu were just ok for me, but I wouldn't order it again. The pork belly was super good and cooked crispy (highlight of our lunch)! Two of the mains took around 30 minutes wait, but I really appreciate the server updating us from time to time. He was very attentive to our needs and from what I noticed, he was the only server on the floor attending to everyone (both indoors and al fresco) 😱
