Best mountain biking in Duluth for those with a lot of experience. There are easy trails at piedmont but the best ones with the most jumps and features you definitely need experience and a good MTB.

If you're a mountain biker looking for every kind of riding in one trail system, Piedmont is where it's at! It's my stomping ground and my favorite trail system in MN so far! Steep downhill chunky tech, smooth progressive tabletops, challenging tech climbs, flow, drops, slabs, rolls, berms and more! It has something for eveyone!

Duluth has invested into it's bike and hiking trails.this is very nice

Lovely classic Nordic ski trails with decent directions …. MOST of the time. The exception in Jan 2023 is no directional signage at map points A and B (intersections). Be careful there. We know the trails now since we did them an extra time. GPS localization is iffy so don’t rely on it.
I wonder if 2022 ice storm took down some of the directional signage.
Trails are popular with locals and well groomed. Lots of cute local signs to read as one wanders lost and despairing.
We will return often because wow, do I know those trails now.

Super fun trails! Trails could be a bit technical for beginners. I like the fact that most are two way trails so you can ride the trails going down or up. I was challanged on my rock climbing and descending skills... Fun!

Beautiful spot close to town. Well-maintained ski trails in the winter for a range of skill levels. Great spot for a walk or trail run, or hop on the bike trails when there's no snow.

Great trails for everyone, bikers, hikers and walking a dog. Beautiful views to see
