The food is always good and service is usually ok but what gives me the icks is that open kitchen with the birds flying in and out. As I was waiting for my food I could see them getting on the bench where the food was being prepped. That kitchen shouldn’t be open like that it’s just gross. The owl statues are obviously not working.

This cafe is a true classic! My fiancée and I went there for brunch and ordered an Egg Benedict, a Smashed Avo, and two coffees. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very kind.
Despite the rainy and windy morning and the crowd, we managed to find a cozy table and enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Highly recommended!

This place is a lovely spot, but apart from that it dosent have a heap going for it.
No service at the table, okay fair enough the place did seem short staffed somewhat. Food was very average - the 3 bean cheese dish could be amazing but it was a stodgey bowl of flavourless overcooked eggs. I opted for scrambled egg with salmon on toast to eer on the side of caution and that was pleasant enough.
Wouldn’t be so bothered as the food was okay, but the prices absolutely didn’t reflect the quality. $78 for two brunch dishes and x2 coffees, couldn’t believe it!
If the food and service was improved I could see this place being a great little spot

I was looking for a place to have a lunch and found this nice place. I had a vegetarian lasagnai and I can say it was really tasty food and also really nice staff

It is simply in the public’s interest to know that a takeaway iced drink is $6.80 and $1 for alternative milk. This wouldn’t be a problem if the drink was at least average sized. It was no more than 50mls, and 70% ice. Cafe also informed me that there is only one sized takeaway cup for iced drinks… so 👎. Please note the wood panelling for size. Drink was tiny
Edit: Owner responded to this Google Review by lying and a ChatGpt reply. Very embarrassing.
Yes she asked me how the food was when she walked by my table. I said fine. Because the food was ok/fine. Nothing special. But also I highly doubt it was genuinely organic. There was no mention of food in my review, because that was simply not the point. I checked my bank statement after and realized how much I was charged for that tiny TINY cup and said hold on, this is not ok. $7.80 for 30-50mls?? I also reached out to them privately on fb first, hours before making a Google Review.
And out of kindness, I initially didn’t mention in this review that they overcharged me for the wrong milk. So to the people reading this- the takeaway iced cups is tiny, and to check you haven’t been overcharged at the counter. And don’t be fooled by them claiming to be “organic”. ;)

We took our daughter out for breakfast on her birthday.
The staff were friendly but they got our order wrong several times.
Firstly we ordered a large and medium coffee but the medium they gave us was a kids fluffy cup. When I questioned the size they said that's definitely a medium. It wasn't until my daughter's fluffy was served that we realized it was the same size and then the staff realized they made a mistake and swapped it for an actual medium cup.
Second mistake was my daughter ordered the kids pancakes which was supposed to come with bacon on it (clearly said it on the menu) but the chef said no it doesn't come with bacon. My poor daughter had to wait even longer for her birthday breakfast because the chef didn't know his own menu 🤦🏽♂️
I had ordered a big breakfast meal. The mushrooms, eggs and bacon were delicious however half of the plate was covered in salad leaves and spinach. I was almsot going to order a second hash brown for $7 but im glad i didn't because it wasn't a proper hashbrown, it's just a ball of mashed potatoe. Not my cup of tea!

Late review - I visited the Jam Organic Cafe in mid June. The food, the service and the atmosphere, everything was great! I tried the Leek soup and Ciabatta toast, it was lovely. Also, had a chat with the lady, seemed like the manager of the cafe, about a few things around that time (if you remember me, I asked you about a certain office on level 4 of the building next to your cafe and you said that there was nothing on level 4, it was vacant, haha funny!!! 😄).
