Hotel Palace Berlin

Our experience at the Hotel Palace Berlin was perfect. We picked for the location, but also the offer we received through the hotel website. With an upgrade to the club junior suite, we received a modern room that was spacious and luxurious.

Check-in was easy and our attendant was helpful and diligent. We received a nice bottle of wine, a large bottle of water and delicious treats - great for after our long journey! Our bed was magnificent - very comfortable and large - and loved the lights around the frame. The bathroom was clean and had one of the best tubs we've had, as well as a stand-alone shower with excellent water pressure. The soaps were nice but very fragrant.

The club lounge is worth the extra money! Free drinks and snacks with lovely views of the park, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet fueled us for lots of sightseeing, and we always left fully satisfied. They were nice to accommodate our early arrive on a holiday, and the food was always excellent. Great selection! The pool/spa area is very nice, and the attendant (I wish I got names) was funny, friendly and helpful. She made sure we had a great visit. While there was nothing to indicate the pool temperature, it was surprisingly cold. But the waterfall and bubbling jets helped with our aches after lots of walking. Not a single complaint about our stay here.

Not very well considered service; had to email and then ask three more times for a double bed to be split into a twin. Otherwise has a gym, pool, decent location and is clean and quiet. A reasonable option for the west of berlin

close to tube and sbahn stations, breakfast has amazing variety and the service was amazing. the elevators are a little sketchy but other than that it was an amazing stay! spa (pool) was small but good.

This hotel deserves 6 stars. I went there for my 50th birthday solo. The hotel made sure I felt at home, upgraded me for free, gave me bubbly for breakfast and a little tray of chocs and strawberries for my me when I got back to suite. I ended up getting a bad cold whilst on trip so spent alot of time at bar drinking ginger tea. Girl at bar was super nice. I want her help noted. When I return to Berlin again I hope I get upgraded to same room for free because having a cold put a dampener on it. So I will be doing the trip again in off season when the weather forecast is better. I stayed in Park suite and I loved it. Its also right across frrom the zoo. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

Everything was good except the cleanliness of the room, I had dust everywhere and the carpet was not properly cleaned. The hotel was full of people as major congress happened at the same time, and the location is in a busy area. Very close there is a very nice park with amazing views and you can walk and run there.

So I stayed here for 8 nights. The rooms and hotel are initially impressive and comfortable. I loved the smart tv ability to connect to my phone but if you log in to your account on the tv for YouTube, it forgets you the next day… logging in with a remote is tiring.
Like any place the issues develop over time. I think by night 5 my back wasn’t doing well. I brought my own pillow but each time I left their pillows on the bed I regretted it. They are a size that is unwieldy and so thin that you want to fold them in half but then that doesn’t feel comfortable.
The shower was lame. No strength at all.
The spa is nice but it is one pool and so the whirlpool is not hot but the same temp as the regular pool…

One of the best hotels ive stayed in. The attention to detail in each room is amazing. From the futurist technology to the luxury cotton on the sheets. Gone are the days of a light switch, you now have a touch panel, where lights are controlled, LED back lighting is controlled and central air is controlled. Should you not like the pillows in the room, not to worry you have different options to choose from. Quality bedding and the most comfortable bed you could ever imagine. Smart TV allows many viewing options.

The staff are super friendly and always willing to go the extra step, royal treatment indeed. The room service was the quickest ive experienced, a meal was ordered and arrive in less than 30 minutes. The attention to detail of the presentation of the food on the plate, makes you feel like you eating at a Michelin star restaurant but in the comfort of your room.
