There is really a reason why Warrington Council has 1.2stars. Just spend 20min on phone and 3 months waiting for email answer to learn nothing and be directed to another council department as council has no idea about their own restrictions, requirements etc as long as you pay council monthly. As a property owner I have no rights and can't get support or simple advice from government organization such as council. Shameful behavior. COUNCIL JOBS... BEST JOBS EVER.

Absolute jobsworths. My elderly mother is applying for a blue badge and they are making it as hard as possible for her to get one. Despite having a letter from the doctor saying they fully support her need for a badge, including a list of all her ailments and copies of prescriptions. They have for the 3rd time requested some other form of proof!!!! Pen pushing morons.

This is absolutely ridiculous now, every week I need to take all rubbish to drop of point which takes good 2 h of my time because of amount of people experiencing same issue, why we pay council tax when we need to do it our selfs, we shouldn't be paying for something we can't receive,for me personally this is another scam

what a sham… i waited a sum total of over half an hour on the phone to just try and book and appointment for my deaf father with an interpreter over incorrect council tax just to be told they “don’t book them over the phone”?? that’s not mentioned anywhere and what’s the point making the trip down to make an appointment and go back home? having to do it face to face now means i’m required to go with him to book too, since they’re not being helpful to the deaf and letting hearing relatives book for them! let’s hope they don’t charge us by the time an appointment’s sorted…

They decided to mark my home as empty and charge me 200% council tax. I tried to login online, but was repeatedly met by a "service unavailable" page. Whoever runs their infrastructure needs a slap. Whoever monitors and updates random council tax accounts with unoccupied details needs a slap. Jokers.

So I have the prospect of 30 minutes on hold wasting my time to ask them to fix their mistake. Lucky me.

1/2 hour on hold trying to buy a parking permit to carry out essential building works in town. It's cheaper and easier to pay the parking fine. We're trying to do the right thing here but as I type they've just hung up on me after being on hold for 28 minutes
