Make sure to book your tickets in advance! We had a lovely tour with Jim! Very tailored to the information that we wanted to know and the museum does a great job a showcasing the materials that they have!

What a unique & special place with immense character & history! Jim gave an in-depth, moving tour of this historic site.

I’m so glad we took the time to secure a spot on the tour. This is worth the entrance fee—and then some!

Spectacular July 4th visit. The one hour guided tour is worth it! Jim was a tremendous story teller. Learned so many interesting Underground Railroad facts, plus was amazed to still be able to see how one Revolutionary War musket ball from the Battle of Germantown passed through 3 separate doors. Did not know bullets from that era were that powerful.

The docent "Jim" provided a excellent tour with historical information and a wealth of experience to seniors from the Philadelphia Protestant Home a senior living community in Lawndale of Philadelphia . I had prearranged the tour for 10 seniors ( ages from 65 to 92 years. This site is a gem in the heart of Germantown. A must visit.
