Great facility and grounds for events. Historic men's club from the 19th century.
Thursday night buffet - sociable and great food!
Excellent food, excellent wait staff.
I stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Accomodations were decent. Our room was huge and clean. However, the bed was slightly too short and the shower didn't fully switch over from the tub faucet to the shower head.
There was very little support staff and the breakfast was meager so we went out to eat both mornings.
My children were so afraid of some weird artwork. E.g. our wallpaper had pictures of a baby's head in flames and the fireplace in the main dining hall had a demonic looking face and creaturs surrounding it.
The historical aspect was nice and they had a library filled with historical books. My children did enjoy exploring the hotel, despite some of the artwork.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The food was just perfect and the staff was very friendly!
Excellent place for a Memorial or large family gathering.
Authentic historic club with a great community and fun events.
