Delicious food in an attractive building. Chicken pie was great, as are the burgers, curries and gammon steak. Delicious biscoff dessert. Quite expensive but it was a special meal.

I have been coming here for bout 2 month after work on. Friday and eating nd drinking bout 30to 40 pounds. Visit.
I arrived and my bike battery was dieing so I asked to use. Spre socket. (of which the hve many) and the guy flt out refused me.. The guy seemed okay until now. I know it's not his responsibility it's mine but I offered. Couple of quid for hlf hours charge gutted I was and will be looking to hve mother weekly finish work 4or 5 pints on the way home.. I hope ll the best it's great location lovely bar and garden but I must admit I'm gutted.

Always friendly service from this local pub. They even remembered or order. Good range of draft and bottles for every taste
Not been to this pub before. A couple of our group had and said there had been an ownership change and mass refurbishment in the last couple of years. You could tell the place had worn in, but it was in a good way. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, food was good (honest recommendations received after we pressured the bloke - very good humoured 😊) and decent range of local/brewery beer, wine and spirits. Will happily go there again
This is a great place that has excellent food. The menu does not have a lot of items and it is a bit expensive but the food is worth it.
The curry is quite lovely and the chips are great as well.

They have plenty of seating and it is a great place to watch some sports. It gets pretty busy and can get a little roudy.
The staff is so friendly and kind. They checked in often and were very helpful.

Top notch place. Food was lovely - I had chicken curry and a delicious South African pudding similar to sticky toffee pud and a pint. Ambience was great. Lots of people enjoying their evening in this lovely local pub. Great background music. And the service was fantastic. Overall: a superb pub and just like pubs should be.
Went for a work Christmas party. Food was good. The person serving us, I believe was called Mark was very polite and took time while bringing our food out to chat with us. Which made it a nicer experience. Will be eating here again.
