If I could give this place 0 STARS I would. This apartment was the worst I’ve been in. I have traveled to many other countries and the apartments were much better in those places. The apartment my family of 6 stayed in had a bathroom with water leaking from the sink, all over the floor. One of the beds had a spring broken and the other bed had a bed broken. The toilet was also partially not working, and there was a string attached to pull in order to flush the toilet. You had to turn the lever to let the water start running and then flush it. Also, our apartment was on the top floor, and coming up was a challenge with all of our luggage because one of the stairs was also broken. The man working at the hotel who helped us told us he would fix the stair for us. It was overall a horrible experience and I definitely do not recommend this to any family especially. I guess the bright side of the apartment was the view of the bridge and the river from the balcony, but overall it was a horrible experience. My family and I had left the place within 6 hours Atleast. We would have left earlier but we had a long day, and flew hours to Istanbul that we needed to rest. Overall, please don’t go to this apartment. It’s also located in a shady alley style area. When we were leaving, there were two people that wanted to take money from us and just approached us in a weird way. It was super suspicious so don’t even try it. Stay somewhere else at nicer hotel in ancient Istanbul please!

눉The exterior: The building was very old, the surrounding areas were dimly lit, the entrance was narrow and right next to a dumpster and the aisle was almost always flooded with water because of the nearby car wash. The leading stairs were also narrow and steep, we even fell on a broken step. This level of hazard should not be tolerated. Weirdly, only the entrance was haunted by this stinky smell that would go nowhere else. The interior: The level of low maintenance of the place would be unimaginable when considering the price. To start the apartment's door handle was broken so the only way to open the door was by key which only one could hold at a time, which wasn't helpful when considering that apartments usually house 4-5 different individuals. Most electric sockets were unusable due to breakage or dangerously hanging out of their place. Some walls looked like they belonged to cave rather than a hotel apartment, with chipping paint and burn marks to follow. The burn marks were not satisfied with the walls alone but also adorned the provided table and kitchen bench top. The toilet leaked water and one of the air conditioners worked like it just finished a marathon and was totally out of breath, meaning that it barely gave out any air, wheezed, and was dripping water. The carpet looked like the last time it was washed Turkey used to be ruled by the Ottomans. Despite the beautiful view of the terrace , we were unable to use it because we had kids and the fence was extremely short. The kettle provided was broken rusted and unusable, and I even got stuck in the bathroom because even the door handle couldn't take it anymore and gave up on me. The provided silverware and dishes were dirty. Some bedsheets tried to look white with all their might but the yellow shade was just too bright. The safe didn't work so we had to lug around all our valuables wherever we went. I even had a peek at the room next door and there was barely any sunlight to show me the faces of the astonished family inside. No phone line between rooms or even to the reception. Some light bulbs were burnt out or altogether absent. At least the Wi-Fi could have consoled our poor souls but it was too slow we couldn't play a single video, all it served was an electronic message delivery system. And to top it all off, we were asked to provide a good rating. We attached some photos too.

눇Good view of the Golden Horn. The receptionist was very cooperative and helpful. She was the only good aspect about the place.

Be carefull when booking and read the negative comments. This is not a "once in a life-time offer" at all. The low cost come with its price: poorly maintained rooms, surface cleaning, moth in bathroom, sheets ironed only once in their lifetime. I was deceived when booking this hotel by photos taken in its former glory beginings and by surprisingly high cotations of many of the other guests. It may have been exceptional for them but for me it was a very poor experience and left earlier. I wouldnt have stayed at all but reached the location late and I was very tired.
