Heaps of photos for those who’d want to try this walk. Went there multiple times, on a rainy, and sunny day. Both weathers presented equally amazing views.
We were unlucky to reach the top of the hill on a rainy and windy weather. We ran for our lives back to the car park thinking that we might be stuck in the middle of the treck. It was a very memorable experiences.

On a clear day in winter expect to see snow mountains in distance. Very beautiful.

Really nice lookout point. Easy access. Lot of information table. Nice place.

Drove up this steep road on a rainy, cloudy day, so could not see too much. But seems like it would be a great view on a more clear day. Ample parking. Free admission. Some war remnants.

Great 360 views of the area, plenty of informative signs of the areas history. Could see Stewart island and surrounding islands. There are a few different bush walks to do but you better have some level of fitness as you are going down a big hill so obviously you'll have to walk back up! Beautiful forest areas.

Most probably this is the most southern part of New Zealand you can reach. Beautiful view point with a little walk pathway to the light house. Parking could be a problem during peak season though especially if you are coming with a campervan.

Some really beautiful ocean views from this lookout point near the tip of the Southern Island!
It’s a short drive up the hill to the parking area, then about a 10 minute walk up to the overlook platform.
If it’s a clear day, you can enjoy the views for miles around!
Don’t miss this when you visit the Bluff area
