I had the suckling pig for dinner and eierschecke for dessert. I would recommend getting a reservation since it was busy when I went, but the food was great, I really like the decor and theme, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a highlight of my trip to Dresden.

Two visits during the weekend in Dresden. Sat in the garden. Quick service and nice food. It's a good normal place to eat and have a beer if you don't seek anything fancy.

I had the house speciality and it was very good.
This restaurant is beautiful inside, in the basement, with wooden furniture, a cannon, and a reconstruction of the old times, very captivating.
The waitress was kind.
It would be 5 stars for me if the price would have been a little bit lower.
I understand that all this needs maintenance, but I would like not be forced to pay at least 3 euros if I want only a glass of water.
For the rest, I think it deserves to eat here at least once.
A wonderful atmospheric place with delicious food and large portions. The prices are reasonable. We will definitely come back again.

The best medieval experience ever done! Perfect for every occasion! Dogs are accepted and very very but very well-treated!! In fact we returned for dinner as well! The dog’s menus are cheap and enrich the family’s experience!

One of my favorite restaurant in Dresden. Very nice ambience with traditional old time decoration. Some evenings here are solo concert by local singer. Traditionally dressed waitress serve you. Food is good. Traditional Saxony meal.

Following a recommendation from a colleague and using a friend's visit and wish to see Dresden as an excuse, we made a reservation for 3 pm today.

We arrived a tad early but it was no issue and we were seated in a manner of minutes.

The service was very friendly and quick, the home baked bread with butter for starters was delicious, the main courses took a while to arrive but boy were they good (and made to order)! Will definitely visit again!

Also, the whole design of the place is rustic and fun and the first thing you see when entering is staff making dough which filled the air with a nice scent!
