Lovely entrance to the main building.

Very beautiful and nice place, free visit. Easily accessible for everyone and wheelchair users.

Just for views and a lovely walk it's a real treat to walk the wall.
Walking the wall I didn't need to buy any tickets.
Lots of the staircases were closed so we had to walk all the way back again to get down.
The garden area was under construction or excavation so not ideal.

Baroque style crown walk through, very fancy

Really charming palace, in spring will be even nicer because now all the fountains are closed.

Wonderful and scenic place. Beeathtaking even when the rain drizzled in the early october evening.

The Kronentor Dresden is one of the gateways into the Dresden Castle complex, specifically the Zwinger part. It's a lovely Baroque gate with an equally lovely and highly ornate crown of the kings of Saxony-Poland over a arches walkway.
The size of the crown is most impressive, and you can get a close up look on the walls of Zwinger. Well worth a look when on Dresden.
