Endroit agréable pour flâner , se balader et aussi boire un café ou déjeuner devant un paysage en perpétuel mouvement. Les lumières sont changeantes quel que soit la période de l’année, source d’inspiration pour les photographes.
Especially lovely in the evening after the heat dissipates. There are plenty of restaurants along the waterfront. There are cruise ships that release their passengers. This seems to keep the area busy and hopping. The Toulon rugby team ("RCT") plays their games on the street just opposite the port.
It's a pleasant walk down the dock, passing a multidie of eateries. Though, either it was a case of some staying closed on a Monday or there are plenty who did not survive the COVID shutdown.
Toulon is France's main Naval base (20,000 people work here). They have an awesome maritime museum open to the public (8 Euros).
