Lushai Cottage TGB at Sajek offers a charming stay amidst the beauty of Sajek Valley. The cottages are cozy, clean, and provide a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff's hospitality is exceptional, and the breathtaking views from the cottages are unparalleled. Whether it's the sunrise or the starry night sky, this place offers an enchanting experience. A definite recommendation for anyone seeking a peaceful stay with stunning scenery!
The cottage is right next to the road. Very nice cloud view from the balcony of the cottage. The behavior of the staff was very good. The rent of the cottage was within our means.
For the Sajek Tour we selected this cottage and contacted before we selected it.
We knocked them on Facebook for details and photos of the rooms. Very courteously they gave information with photos which is good.
However after visiting the cottage and our rooms we became kind of delighted because we can enjoy a deliberate and enough view of clouds with natural hill view at the balcony.
We took the "Special Room (4 people)" and "Couple Room" from "Lushai Cottage" and "Group Room (8 People)" from "Jolghor Cottage".
The Special Room is really special đš, 2 beds, 1 beautiful balcony with sittings, one t-table and 1 attached washroom with basin, high-commode. Room are quite beautiful and made with bamboos and crafts.
The couple room is kind of confined, 1 bed, and attached bathroom. The confinement type, I think good for couple for their privacy!đ
Finally, the Group Room of Jolghor Cottage was at down ground. The room with 4 beds but 1 bed is in floor without the structure, 1 attached bathroom with basin and high-commode, 1 wide balcony with no view actually but you can make adda at this. We were 10 people actually, so we had asked the Cottage reception to give extra 2 pillows for us, and they gave it.
The cottage has a common balcony in the middle and with entrance of the cottage which is beautiful with view.
However, a notable thing is as we went on June 17th, it was rainy season, few drops of rains fall in the room not in bed but in free space of the (Special Room) although it was not a major issue for us.
Another thing is electricity issue. You will get the electricity service from check-in time to the dawn of another day upto about 7/8 AM. After that only solar will work that is a common light for room and the washroom. So please carry powerbank and charge all devices before the manual electricity (generator) service is out. Moreover bought enough water bottles for drinking water.
It is current for 2022, we visited on 17-18 June in 2022. So please, give update if you go there.

We were the only guest while staying there, so we found this place quiet though some construction work was ongoing at adjacent resort. Wooden floor. Restaurant is at distance of 1 minute walk. Hill view from the resort is moderate. Overall experience is good.
Located at Ruiluipara of Sajek Valley, Lushai Cottage is a cottage of average services and facilities. Cottages are made of bamboos and wood. Hill view from this cottage is obstructed by trees. Much much better hill views are available from many other cottages in Sajek valley. Bathrooms don't have basins. Bedsheets are too ordinary.

Had an unfortunate incident while our last visit.
The family room is for 4 persons but we were a group of five. That is why we told this even before booking and they said they didn't have any problem with that. As we reached there they told us to pay 500 for each extra person, which they didn't tell us before. We asked why didn't they tell us that while we were booking and they said they didn't KNOW we were bringing extra people.
They can charge as much as they want but they must clear that to their customers first, which they didn't.
We had a great time there other than this particular incident. They provided complimentary water and other toiletries.
The resort is not far from the entrance of Sajek Valley. It has its downside too as places like Helipad and Konglak Pahar is quite far from the resort. Popular restaurants such as" Peda Ting Ting" is almost in front of the resort. Other decent restaurants are also very near.
Pro tips: While booking make sure you book the top floor with the balconies.

One of the best place for living in Sajek. The clear view of cloud is visible. The hospitalty is outstanding. All the rooms are fantastic decorated. The balcony in every room makes an excitement for visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of Sajek. Lovely place for couple, family, friends & group tour.
