Pretty clean park compared to the rest of NW, often delinquents from the local school hanging around, which can make it somewhat unappealing. It's good for walking dogs and also open 24h.

A decent sized rectangle dog park. Well maintained, mostly very conscientious dog owners. My dog loves the socialbilty of this park, it's safe as it is fully enclosed, as long as people close the gates after themselves. It has a small playground for kids. A brilliant bike/skate/scooter path that is like a miniature road configuration. Aimed at kids for up to 10 years. So good and safe to teach road safety. It has an enclosed basket ball/football area. Also an outdoor gym. Avoid around 8.30am & 3.30pm if you don't want to get caught with an influx of secondary school kids cutting through the park on their way home, from the school next to the park. Easy to park, loads of pay and display places and it is very it is rare to see a parking attendant. Best bit is that it is never locked. So if you need to walk your dog late and have company, even though it's dark it still feels safe to me. No water for dogs and it gets very muddy and waterlogged when it rains. Lots of poo bins and mostly good community spirit of picking up ones dog poo.

I live in South West and the only reason I found this place was doing some Borrow my Doggy dates. I have to best find ever for a dog lover. It's an off lead park and the best place ever to meet people from the area and most importantly get to know the dogs in the area.

The part itself is maintained very well, apart from a few people who doesn't close the gate! 🙄

There is also a little bike track, which is a good place to teach kids basic road rules and also a little play area for the really little ones.

All up a very good place to let you kids and puppies loose and they will sleep when you get home. 😆

Great playground for young kids. Safe, fenced, bicycle park with lanes for young children. Climbing rock. Playground with swings etc. Court for basketball players. Small but adequate area to take your dog, allowed off leads. Dog area fenced but non self-close gates which means young dogs might run on to the road. I'm forever shouting to people "PLEASE CLOSE THE GATE!" Council should sort this, requests have been made by locals to no avail. I ended up making a sign ( which only works sometimes!)

An excellent little park, complete with outdoor jungle gym, a mini track for kids to scooter around, with lots of seating areas.

Nice park with little areas for different uses good to see and little expanse of green. It's nick name of 'pooh park' really becomes obvious in the summer when the heat particularly brings out the gentle stink of dog excrement. But good for local dog owners to have somewhere for their dogs to relieve themselves rather than the local pavements.

Great spot to bring your dog as they can be off lead - very large green with footpath all around - great for socialising ( for dog & walker)
its got gates which most people close behind them - it would be improved if there was a water fountain in there - very good spot for young children on bikes scooters skates etc- large area set out like roads - basketball court & outdoor gym - what's not to like!! Love it there
