Saw a show on the pier here. Awesome.

Outdoor concert on the boat baby! Super fun. No waiting and no tickets needed......just gas to get there.

Such a beautiful and wonderful place and experience, once-in-a-lifetime Gleensheen mansion incredible live music on the shores of Lake Superior

You can get a look at this structure (outside of it only) when you are walking the grounds of this incredible estate.
It's the most impressive boathouse that I've seen, but what do you expect when it is on the property of such a grand house?
Everything about this area is impressive, and it is such a peaceful location I don't know how anyone could NOT love it!!

Date of Visit: 10/30/2020 - Such a picturesque location!

Part of the Glensheen Mansion grounds, beautiful view on Lake Superior.

This is just the boathouse on Glensheen. Google thinks it is a destination. Its just the Congdon boat house. Cool but not a tour able structure. Do go down to Lake Superior and throw some stones into the "Inland Sea"
Or as I like to call it "the big blue wet thing"...

The Boathouse on the Glensheen Estate was built around 1909 to house the Congdon's yacht. It's said to be the last structural (built-in) boathouse on Lake Superior. Recent storms (2017) have taken a toll on the structure although there is a concerted effort to repair and restore the building. You can walk through the Boathouse as part of the Nooks and Crannies tour at the Glensheen.
