Drove an hour back to our home town to take our girls here for their bday stuff they choose to do. They had Soo much fun. So much history. This place was fun. We spent 2 1/2 hours. Highly recommend visiting this place.

The railroad museum was very nice and has so much under roof. We really enjoyed our visit.

Location of train museum and train rides. Lots of interesting historical displays.

Incredible museum with a train ride to top it off

Cool train ride along the north shore. Train had a beverage and snack car, a first-class car with 360° clear dome roof. It was a relaxing and informational ride.

If you love Trains, and learning about local History, The Union Depot is a must stop. Plan on spending a couple of hours looking @ all the trains, and exhibits though to really enjoy the whole experience. 🙂

We loved the museum. It was fun to see so many of the items my family had when I was a little girl. Some of the rail cars are closed off, which was very disappointing. The cars are expertly equipped with original items. Such a treasure! We saw where rail cars are in various stages of renovation and would like to come back when those exhibits are completed. The rail ride was fun too. It made my husband and I think about planning a cross-country rail trip. The art gallery sucked. It wasn't family friendly and no warning was provided.
