Nottingham Park

Nice park in Sherwood West neighborhood. Has a basketball court and nice playground for the kids. Large grass area for frisbee, etc.

Know before you go: The city of Boise website doesn’t mention it but as of March 2024 half the playground is missing pieces and boarded up—though there’s still a staircase open that leads to a nice gap in the walkway and an unmarked 4-foot drop as my 2 year old discovered. No signage explaining anything. The taller slides on the other half of the playground are open but the only way to access them is a single foot-hold type ladder making it inaccessible for younger kids. Swings and springy rides are the only feature worthwhile to parents and young kids at the moment.

Needs to fill in tanbark- stairs and slides are too high with lots of dips in random places.

Nice small neighborhood park. Great for kids and family.

Nice, small park with a good playground and plenty of shady areas provided by the tall trees. Like many of the small, neighborhood parks, it could use a water fountain. Not too far from the irrigation canal on McMillan if your dog likes to swim.

Great park for kids very clean, but please remember dogs need to be on leashes.

Nice neighborhood park, new playground. No facilities. Dogs on leash and picked up after - there is a bag station.
