The Bosque is a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. We all need to recharge our own spiritual batteries and communing with nature is one way to accomplish this.
On my walks I have seen porcupine, bobcats, skunks, raccoons, Coyotes,
Great Horned Owls, beaver, Hawks, Bald headed eagles, great blue Heron and of course Sandhill Cranes.

Great place for an easy walk along the Rio Grande. Great nature trail. Only downside is some of the homeless look a little scary.

It is one of the most beautiful parts of the Bosque. I was visiting here after being gone for years and it was a very needed little walk along the rio grande. The trees were just starting to change colors as it is now getting in to fall season. Don’t miss the easy walk around in a highly vegetated color changing wonderland of trees and wild flowers.

Peacefull
