BEWARE OF BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!!

On 6/29 I placed an order online for delivery for a pizza and a piece of cake. $35. I utilized the “recommended” app “SLICE” listed on their website. Received an email stating that my food would be delivered by 5:11 pm and then immediately received a follow up email saying it would be delivered later than expected - 5:18 pm. What a complete understatement that was because I never received my order at all.
I waited until 5:38 pm before reaching out to the “restaurant” to inquire about my order and was told “my driver had a problem” and was informed my order could not be delivered. I asked “so I have to come pick it up?” to which I was told “yes”. I then informed the man on the phone that I had no vehicle and would not be able to pick up the order and asked to be refunded. He asked if I ordered through “slice” and I confirmed and he said “ok”.
But guess what??? I was never refunded! What a surprise. When I contacted “slice” to request assistance, I was told that they could not help me because they were informed that I was the one that canceled the order after it was made. So … they basically lied.
Also, as a side note, I would HIGHLY recommend that you do not order through “slice” because after I explained my situation and what REALLY happened, I was told they were going to speak with the owner in an hour and a half and that they would get in touch with me once they did and, wouldn’t you know it… no one has contacted me and no refund has been issued. I will also be placing a complaint with the BBB regarding the third party vendor.
ALL OF THIS OVER A $35 DOLLAR REFUND THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GRANTED DUE TO THEIR FAILURE TO DELIVER A SERVICE THAT I PAID FOR.
Edit: Their lack of concern in their response should tell you everything you need to know about the people running this business. Childish.

Today my boyfriend took me to this place and being honest this place has good food but the staff and their image have a lot to improve. Come on ! this place has no class at all it seems like a place run by inexperienced people the whole place is horrible it looks like a very ordinary restaurant who runs it? We were laughing just watching the whole place looks like a carnival. Here's some advice: the employees should worry about their image, those menus are horrible, there is no consistency and the photos and advertising are horrible. To the Owner: Spend a little more money and get help for this place and find a good graphic designer, maybe a consultant to guide you. Best luck! Cheer up!

Poor service! poor food! dont waste your money Here! If i could rate the staff i will give them 0 stars. How about this: Desr owner get better staff if you cant handle this business just get a manager or just close FOR EVER

Great place, Ik its a pizza place but I like the Betos Burger a lot, if your town definitely give it a try

Loved the service and the mini beef empanadas, In my opinion this is the best place to eat with family or with friends

I ordered a stromboli and the person who helped me said that it should take no more than twenty minutes. I would gladly wait. One hour and twenty minutes later no food and no explanation or apologies. I just got up and left. Shame.
