Great Selection of Art!!!, Beautiful Building, just Wish more of the Original Home with Furniture. A Must See in San Antonio!!

Great variety of art represented. The building itself is a work of art, with beautiful architectural features. Loved my afternoon visit. Very thought provoking and peaceful.

The McNay is a gorgeous and extensive art museum housed in an equally stunning Spanish style mansion. There's something for everyone here - paintings by the masters, modern art, glass work, metal work, sculptures, special displays, the list goes on. Honestly, it's almost impossible to cover all the displays including the sculptures in the grounds in a single day. Can't wait to be back soon!

Such a beautiful museum and grounds.
I was truly impressed with both the current exhibit, the de la Torres brothers, and the permanent exhibits whi h checked all the right boxes-Monet Water Lilies,Picasso, etc.
The building itself was wonderful and the grounds are a pleasant study in serendipity.

I can't believe I waited so long to visit the McNay Art Museum! They have free admission every first Sunday, which is great for people working or in school M-F. The beautiful grounds, building, and courtyard were a work of art themselves. I love the intimate feel of viewing art in small rooms of the home. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

McNay Museum was so enjoyable for my family. My grandson was very impressed with the sculptures, paintings and the landscape outside. The artwork was truly captivating!

The McNay is San Antonio's most iconic art museum, and one of the greatest house museums I've ever visited. The standing collection and visiting exhibits rival most large city museums. The building and grounds are as spectacular as the art itself. The new building adds for and exhibit space without much altering the charm of the old building.
The museum also has a small parking lot and gift shop.
