The Kathmandu

We’ve been coming here for years and it just gets better and better! Authentic, delicious with a comfortably low-key atmosphere. Service is always good, food is amazing….no matter what we try, but we do have our favs. Try it! You won’t be disappointed. ;)

Try the Nepali specials they are amazing. My boyfriend got the Butter Chicken and loved it. I got the Methi Curry (Chicken) and it was amazing - flavorful and unique. 10/10. Also I am gluten free and having everything labeled was so fricken nice, it made me feel comfortable and their GF selection was very large. We will be back!!

We got takeout, but it was super quick and they were helpful when we wanted to add additional items in store while picking up. The food was great (we got the butter chicken). Couldn't ask for more!

Even better than the salt lake location (and I love the SL location)! The butter chicken was amazing and my son really liked the garlic chicken. The bread basket is one of my favorites too. Diaas was so helpful and everyone was super nice. We definitely recommend!

We tried the chef special and it was great!! The meat platter (sizzler) that was part of the chef special was SO GOOD! We got way more food than we were expecting, and had enough leftovers for lunches the next day. The service was great and they were all really nice. 10/10 would recommend and I want to go back again soon!

I found myself hungry in Salt Lake City when I found The Kathmandu restaurant. I found the staff to be very polite and helpful in choosing from their extensive menu. I ordered chicken Vindaloo with a side of garlic bread. It was genuine Indian cuisine and it was delicious. They have a lunch buffet and a full dine-in restaurant. Great job guys! Hope to see you again when I pass through SLC next time.
