The Midway Point

Unbelievable what I just witnessed. I came to chill after a hard week at work, and the wonderful server that always greets me with a smile and brightens my day (Charity) was literally belittled and chastised by the boss in front of everyone there. I have never had anything other than excellent service from Charity and she is a hardworking woman who didn’t deserve any of that. Shame on you Christina. I know who you are and will make sure anyone I know never goes there again.

Wonderful staff, like a “Cheers” bar where everyone knows your name. Bar food is great, and so are the strong cocktails.

I was a brand new customer thinking I just moved to the area and wanted to check out this dive bar near my new place. I even invited a friend to meet me there. When I first walked in I was alone and felt very awkward as one does going into a new place alone. I sat there for about 10 minutes before someone finally helped me and got me a beer. I waited for my friend to get there who showed up about 30 minutes later. He and I waited another 20 minutes and could not seem to get service or even acknowledged so we walked out. I personally loving dive bars would never recommend. They need bar rescue on every level. Terrible!!!!

Great place to catch a sporting event. Lots of TVs and the staff tries to accommodate any program requests.
The atmosphere is casual and relaxed.
Lots of regulars, and they seem to overlook the slow service. Even at the bar, it takes a while to catch the bartender's attention to get a refill. Drinks are generous, and the staff is friendly. It's just the process of getting one is very slow.
If you are in the tables section, it's even worse. Expect a very long wait to order a drink, a refill, or food.
For bar fare, the food is really good. The nachos are perfectly made - you have to ask for extra sour cream (they give you about 1 tsp of it with your order). And they charge for each add'l small dab of it, but otherwise, the nachos are great. Burgers, sandwiches, everything I've tried is good.
I've been here multiple times to meet friends and the experience is always the same.

It's a top spot for sport watching, because the TV screens are literally everywhere. You can't even count how many there are. They have happy hour and daily specials. The waiter, Jared, was really attentive and hospitable. They give you an option how you want your fries(regular or sweet potato). It's a chill bar and a great get-together place.

Great historic diner and bar , with authentic food items from fabulous burgers to quesadillas to chicken tenders to chili . The service is very freindly and welcoming . The place has a lot of seats and TV screens and a full bar . Highly recommended.

Great dive bar with friendly staff. Standard bar fare at a price that won't break the bank. Wings are fried crispy and so are the cottage fries. Juicy burgers and tasty salads loaded with chicken and fresh vegetables. Relaxed place without any pretense of being anything but a good old fashioned sports bar.
