Nice building to donate blood

Very nice grass greens and nearby parking. The members that I met during a pennant match were all very nice and welcoming.

Donate blood their at the pop up donation center every 3 months. Greens look well kept though.

Lovely venue for our end of year staff party. The gentleman at the bar was very friendly and helpful, reasonable drinks prices, and the room was great. Comfortable seating, nice polished wooden floor that would be great for dancing on, functional kitchen area.

Xmas function indoors. A bit noisy - but a large, clean, well maintained space. Very usable kitchen and BBQ. Obliging staff made it easy for us.

As I have stated before I'm a bowler and I try to review as many clubs as I can. Favouritism yes but not that I would give a false review. It was our second last game of the season and we were visiting Camberwell central at their home ground. Our season was a horror and theirs a dream. It's been a very long time since I played there. They have a beautiful club in a parkland that has a cricket club and more. The club has been around for a very long time but most clubs have difficulties getting new young players and players in general. We had a great day and we are not talking about the scoreboard. The members were great very friendly and very helpful in finding someone to serve us at the bar. All clubs rely on their members and others to volunteer in helping out the club. The day was fantastic the team we played against were a fantastic bunch and after the game we stay back and have a drink and a chat. I can honestly say that I don't regret taking up bowls, I have met a lot of great people from all walks of life, some characters that I would not have gotten to know if it wasn't for bowls. This is the most social game anyone can play. For all the people who live in and around the area, you have a great club but to guarantee its existence it needs members. If you live in Camberwell then join and that way you will have helped the club be part of Camberwell for years to come
